The Israeli psychosis
Israel is sick. Not sick as in it's got a cold, sick as in mentally ill. It wasn't always sick, when it was little it was very healthy. It was hard working, kind, and had dreams of grandeur.
Israel became mentally ill like so many others do. It was abused as a child. It was beaten regularly and sexually molested and yes even tortured as a child. Like all children who were abused those memories will never leave it. Like all abused children it regularly confuses love with violence. Like most abused children when it grew up it became an abuser.
When you kill, when you commit violence against another it changes you. You can't just murder somebody and then remain the same person you were before you pulled the trigger. This goes double if you are a rapist or a torturer and it gets even worse when you become a serial killer or rapist. With each act of cruelty you change. You become colder, meaner, less able to empathize with others, less able to feel, less able to love. Each act of violence and hate makes a little more evil.
Israel has sent generation after generation of it's young people to commit unspeakable acts of violence against others. Those young impressionable men and women have all come back into the society changed and de-sensitized to violence. They all came back filled with hate and disgust not just against the palestenians but themselves too. As a result Israel is now completely ill. It can no longer distinguish between good and evil. It's completely unable to control it's impulses. It has no understanding of what it's doing and the harm it causes others.
It's a serial rapist who keeps a woman chained in the basement, repeatedly raping her all the while expecting her to one day submit and make love to it willingly.

Just for the record, I'm 27 years old, support peace, and it makes me very sad to be a part of this no choice war.
What will you do in our situation, when we are surrounded with fanatical Islamic all around who try to destroy us day after day?
We got out of Lebanon and Gaza, we offered peace solutions for several times, but it's never enough!!!
They want us out of here, but that very small country is all we have.
Maybe you would like us to let them slap us on the other chick, will that make us healthy, and will that satisfy you?

sorry about the way i write, but i have no other idea of how to explain to an american guy sitting on his couch, watching CNN and think he know everything, that what you write is a pile of crap, to explain to you how is it to BE there, to BE a part of it, the feeling of almost explode tp pieces 2 times befor reaching the age of 18, just because you were almost in the wrong place at the wrong time, and to think about that dude you saw missing the bus you were on, and see his picture in the newpapper the day after.
i admit, israel is not saint, and sometimes the govenment do things i disagree with, but WE DO WHAT WE DO CUZ WE MUST!

I would just add that it saddens me that you, like so many others, are willing to accept any horrible story you hear about Israel without a shred of evidance and without the decency of trying to hear the other side of the story.

Why do you think we didnt just drop cluster bombs all over South Lebanon and got it over with? Why did we rain paperleafs with warnings to civilians not to be around Hizbollah? You seem to forget that all of the Arab countries that surround us tried, and some are still trying to destroy the state of Israel. It seems that the Arab mentality is not devoloped enoungh to understand that some states that possese a substantional amount of power are not interested in using it even against countries or terrorist organizations that do not stand a chance. The Arab mentality believes that if you have the power to rape and destroy and conquer another country then you do it. The western mentality (including Israel) has long past that phase in pubirty (the age of empires) Hizzbollah believes that the withdrawel of israel from lebanon is because Hizzbollah defeated Israel.. well this is not true. Israel wants to live in peace. But ever since it was born it had to face countries that wanted it to be demolished. Jordan and Egypt understood that its impossible to destroy Israel and only after 40-50 years of constent fighting they signed a peace agreement with Israel. We have to prove to Hizzbollah Iran and Syria that they do not have a chance in there voyage against Israel. They only understand POWER, there mentality is stuck a few hundred years back. As for the Lebonese cevilians, I am very sorry for the casualties, but the Lebonese people are responsible for what happens on their land, they cannot clean themselves of the responsabilty, either they let go of their land and call it The State of Hizzbollah or either they drive the Hizzbollah out of there, either way THEY are responsible, there is no vacum. Some of you have justifed the Israeli regime of occupation, torture, kidnapping, and murder by saying that it's surrounded by enemies. I don't think that's a good enough justification. I acknowledge that israel is hated by it's neighbors. Furthermore it's hated by a billion muslims all over the world. The question is why?
One of you said "we could have dropped cluster bombs" but I guess that was before Israel did drop cluster bombs. Anyway that's a pretty lame excuse. That's like saying "Sure I raped her but at least I didn't kill her. I had the knife to her throat but I didn't kill her. Besides the only reason I raped her was because she wouldn't make love to me willingly. If she only agreed to make love to me willingly I would have untied her"
Really guys, all you have done is to try to justify what can never be justifed. There is no excuse ever to torture any body. Even if your neighbors hate you. Even if everybody hates you. There is no reason to occupy 3.5 million people. There is nothing you can say that would justify apartheid. Nothing. Just because people hate you that does not mean you get to run an apartheid state.
Ask why you are hated so much and see if there is something you can do about it.

There are thousands of irrefutable, well-documented acts of state terrorism committed by Israel. Car bombs, bombing of apartment buildings, bombing of airports, bombing of crowded marketplaces, abductions and torture, seizing civilians as human shields to be herded around by IDF soldiers at gunpoint, and other heinous atrocities. Even terrorist bombings committed against the US!
Why should any nation accept this? Why shouldn't Israel be treated like the Nazi regime and eliminated for the same reasons that the world acted against them?
Regarding the collective mental illness of the state of Israel, it always seemed to be to analogous to a sociopathic adult who was raised by bad parents. Just as Israel has never been punished for its international law violations, that slowly become worse and worse until they are engaged in full-blown ethnic and religious genocide.. it seems akin to a child who was never smacked or disciplined when growing up and who became a serial killer.
